To feel
The first step in my journey was learning to feel.
As a coping mechanism, sometimes we dissociate from our feelings. We pretend to be okay in order to protect ourselves from negative emotions. Before we know it, we have forgotten how to hurt. We also forget how to love.
To Heal
Confronting our feelings can be terrifying.
In order to heal, we have to uncover the scars. This process can be painful and emotionally challenging. However, it is a necessary step to wellness.


To love
Once we have learned to feel, and learned to heal, we now have room in our hearts and minds to love.
We have to unpack and unlearn unhealthy habits in order to experience healthy love.
